		Chris M. Kanoff Co-Chairman Chris is Executive Vice President in Jefferies' Los Angeles office and Co-Head of the firm's Investment Banking Group. Chris joined Jefferies in 1991 and currently serves on the Executive Committee. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and also the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. Board Member since 2011 Appointed Co-Chair in 2011

		Jeffrey Agnew Co-Chairman Jeff is the Global Human Resources Controller in Jefferies' New York office and has been with Jefferies since 2008. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and New York University School of Law. Board member since 2010 Appointed Co-Chair in 2013

		Mo Ahmed Director Mo is a VP in the Distressed Debt and Special Situations Group at Jefferies. He began his career in New York at an FXCM, an international FX brokerage firm. Mo joined Jefferies in 2015, where he spent time in Operations and Fixed Income Technology before transferring to his current position. He currently serves on Working Council for J-NOBLE, Jefferies’ Network of Black and Latino Employees. Mo graduated from the University of Oklahoma where he studied Economics. Board member since 2021

		Chanel Brewster Director Chanel is the granddaughter of founder, Boyd Jefferies. She attended The University of Arizona where she majored in Special Education and has been working in early childhood education for nine years. She currently works as a teacher at The Gratitude Garden Preschool, which is a STEAM and Reggio inspired pre-school that focuses on science, engineering, and mathematics. Board Member since 2017

		Larry Dunn Director Larry retired from Jefferies in 2006 after 30 years of service. Board Member since 2008 Appointed Chairman of the Investment Committee in 2008

		Julia Dworkin Director Julia Dworkin is a Senior Vice President in the Capital Intelligence Group at Jefferies LLC and covers managers and investors in the Midwest, Texas, Colorado and Tri-State regions. Julia graduated from the Vagelos Life Science and Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania, earning her B.S. from the Wharton School and a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences. Julia has also been on the junior board of Chick Mission since in 2019. Board Member since 2021
		Richard Garrison Treasurer Richard is the Director of Tax in Jefferies Financial Group’s New York Office. Board Member since 2018
		Paul Gray Director Paul joined Jefferies in 1985 upon graduation from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. His career started in Jefferies Boston office followed by one year in the Los Angeles office, the firm headquarters at the time. Presently he is a Managing Director working in cash Equities Sales and Trading in the Boston office. Paul has spent his entire 37 year career at Jefferies. Outside of work, Paul is involved with other non-profits including Francis Quimet Scholarship Fund and Boston MedFlight. Board Member since 2022
		Zachary Goldberg Director Zach is a Managing Director in Jefferies' New York office and Head of Franchise Sales within equities. Zach joined Jefferies in 2017 and currently serves on the jWin Board at Jefferies and the New York Board of Team Impact. He is a graduate of Georgetown University. Board Member since 2021
		Mark Sahler Director Mark Sahler has been at Jefferies for 20 years and currently holds the roles of Global Head of Liquidity Management and Head of U.S. Core Operations. Prior to Jefferies, Mark spent 4 years at Lewco Securities as Assistant Treasurer and 9 Years at Tucker Anthony as the Head of Cash Management and Head of various Operations groups. Board Member since 2019
		Carrera Jefferies Shea Secretary Carrera is the daughter of Stephen Jefferies and the granddaughter of founder, Boyd Jefferies. She is also a former employee of Jefferies. Carrera served on the Selection Committee from 1995-2001. She is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara. Board Member since 2001
		Chase Upshaw Director Chase is an Associate in Fixed Income, with 4 years of experience in Municipal Sales. Prior to joining Jefferies, Chase attended Stevens Institute of Technology where he graduated with a B.E. in Chemical Engineering. Chase grew up in West Orange, NJ and graduated from West Orange High School with high honors. Chase is also a member of JNOBLE and works on the Diversity Recruitment team at Jefferies. Board Member since 2021

		Sharon K. Jefferies Director Emerita Sharon was involved with the Jefferies Family Scholarship long before she became a director. Sharon's husband, Boyd L. Jefferies, started this scholarship program in 1981 in honor of his son, Stephen. Served as a board member 2001-2011

Attending university has not only inspired me within an academic sphere, but has also proved invaluable in presenting me with the opportunity to become involved in many clubs and activities. I also feel privileged to have made friends with people from different regions of the country and from abroad. I am very grateful for the support that I have been given by the Jefferies Family Scholarship, which has enabled me to enjoy much of the past year and develop my academic interests.
