About

I attend DePaul University’s College of Digital Media where I am pursuing a major in Computer Game Development. Through further education in computer programing, I hope to learn how to create games that will revolutionize and improve the computer game development industry, while developing a skillset that can be applied to other fields of software development. While at Jones College Prep, I participated in multiple programs at the nearby Field Museum, such as I Dig Tanzania, and the Field Museum Youth Council. I also took part in Columbia College Chicago’s High School Summer Institute, which offered the Games for Change program, a 3-week curriculum, which assisted me with designing and building my own game under the tutelage of instructors from the college. There I created a game that focused on the issue of racism in modern society, and portrayed the unfairness of discrimination. In the future, I hope to create games that will entertain a wide variety of audiences, while also enlightening them about some common problems people face in everyday life.
