About
As a student in high school, I joined, started, and served as a leader in many organizations in order to pursue my passions. I was a Youth Secretariat in the Model United Nations and Youth and Government, which helped develop my interest in public speaking and debate. As a lover of music, I played a lead role in my school’s marching, concert, and jazz bands, winning the Woody Herman Jazz Award. I brought two interests of mine, finance and filmmaking, into my school by founding and serving as the president of the Stock Market Club and Film Club. I also started two volunteer music and education projects and held leadership in the Spanish Honor Society. In addition, I played varsity tennis, was a National Merit Finalist, was nominated for the Presidential Scholarship. I currently study at the University of California, Berkeley.
