About

In high school, I demonstrated leadership skills through athletics. In addition to being captain of my soccer team, I was also a Staten Island Advanced All Star and NYC Mayor’s Cup All Star and Winner in high school soccer. Throughout most of my life, I participated in travel soccer and recreational basketball. As a committed student and community member, I was a member of the Staten Island Technical High School’s National Honor Society. Additionally, for seven consecutive years, I volunteered for the Richard Gardner Jr. Memorial Toy Drive. I hope to pursue a career in computer science engineering.

It has been an honor for me to receive this scholarship. I sincerely thank donors for everything it has done for my education at Geneseo State University. By awarding me this scholarship, I am able to devote more time to my studies instead of spending my time working in school to help pay off my college debt.

I started out college with the intentions of becoming an engineer but after figuring some things out for myself, I decided to pursue a career in business. More specifically I would like to join the business field after I earn my CPA degree. My journey to becoming an accountant will be a challenging one and thanks to your help I will have options to further my education.
